Heron Island research

For 20 years I have been travelling to the Great Barrier Reef to conduct research. Heron Island has been one of the places that I continue to visit and this week I have been lucky enough to spend another week out there flying my drone and snorkelling – all in the name of research!

I have made this quick (3.50min) video explaining why I come to Heron Island and the reef and the work that I do, using drones and satellite data.
